PARKSVILLE QUALICUM RETIRED TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION
It's that time of the year! That time when retired teachers smile smugly
and say “To hell with the bell!” And so, the PQRTA invites you to join us in a celebratory
cheer and luncheon, as follows:

Topics: This luncheon is a social time,
without a formal agenda. However, we will welcome our new retirees and look at
our programme for the upcoming year.
This year, we have changed to a lunch
format, instead of breakfast. The menu
includes: homemade soup (choice of 3), large
herb and cheese scone, coffee/tea/juice, and dessert.
The cost is $22.00 which includes the lunch, a donation to Milner Gardens for
their educational program called “Shoots with Roots” , a contribution towards the door
prize, and other associated costs. As
well,
you can purchase tickets to participate in the “Skill Testing
Question”. Please bring cash (correct change is appreciated).
Remember
to wear your
name tag and bring an extra layer for the cooler ocean breezes by
Milner Gardens.
We still need a president for our upcoming year, so if you're willing to help out our executive team, please let us know.
